Be aware: becoming a lingerie model may desensitize your partner to sexy intimates.

Hahaha, this is what I said to my husband after trying on three out of five new sets of lingerie. Luckily, he assured me that it would take a lot more to desensitize him. We are willing to take the risk.

Having been in the lingerie industry for a year now [wow a year already!] I have learned to love my body more and more. I know it’s a major buzzkill when you get all excited to go shopping and then you go and nothing fits. Who wouldn’t be bummed? When things fit…. oh lord, buy three!

Trying on lingerie you get very excited to see the shape of your butt, your breasts and overall have that sexy feeling. If you try something on and it doesn’t quite fit keep in mind that it may just not be made for your body shape.

It has absolutely nothing to do with how beautiful, or smart, or wonderful you are. It has everything to do with who the designer had in mind when they created their piece. Just try another size or style or maybe a new designer all together.

Pearlle is a great example of an attentive designer. After our first collaboration, she helped me choose better sizes for my body, and she curated the following beauties based on my look and comfort.

The following pieces are from one of her earlier collections, BELLA. Welcome to the Bella Collection:

High-waisted cuts are back in style, and why shouldn’t it be? The high cuts flatter a woman’s figure while covering a large area, for a secure and sexy feeling. The peeks of skin behind the cut lace is also a subtle yet sexy touch.

The material used for this polyamide, with a cotton gusset, and it is soft and gentle around the edges. I appreciate having the tag printed on the inside. I hate having to cut a tag from a new pair of panties. I have a small panic attack just before the snip fearing that I’ll cough and cut them in the wrong way destroying them forever!!! In this case, crisis averted.

The bra is very beautiful with a high-cut lace to match the panties. The lace comes up pretty high on my neck. Adjusting the straps made the collar even tighter, making comfort a fine dance. Lingerie as outerwear is becoming more and more trendy; this design is in the right direction. I think what I needed was actually a smaller cup size. This would have made the high-neck lace a little shorter/smaller and the cups would lay nicer.

This just goes to show why trying a ton of sizes is so important! My other bras from Pearlle in this same exact size all fit great. Who knows, maybe when I am on my cycle my engorged chest will fill it out and it’ll be a perfect fit.

The chest band is laser-cut leaving a clean seamless look under clothing. All of the hardware is metal, wich is always a good sign of quality. One fun thing about this entire collection [spoiler] is that the straps and back clasps all say Bella on them. Pretty sweet touch if you ask me!

This one is my absolute favorite. Just looking at it laying on my kitchen table right now makes me happy and I am filled with the urge to put it on and dance around.

Lets cut to the obvious beauty of the bra… the gold clasps, the side adjustments, the six back hooks giving it a mini corset feel. Let’s not forget the beautiful lace print all over the bra! This was is my favorite from this collection hands down.

Wearing it is not only fun, but also comfortable and realistic for any day. This mighty bra is a push-up and it’s not kidding. When my bust gets extra support like this I either tend to beat on my new chest-drums or walk around the house knocking things over with my now enormous chest. I may be embellishing the latter.

The straps are removable/ adjustable which means you can wear this with a multitude of tops. I love switching the straps around so that the adjustable band part is in front. Maybe it’s not as sexy as a smooth strap, but I can adjust it easily this way. If you choose to go strapless you don’t need to worry. This bra won’t be going anywhere with those 6 beautiful hooks in the back!

The hardware is also made of metal, so you won’t have to worry about anything busting unexpectedly. These straps are adjustable/ removable and I like the positioning of the loops. NO matter the direction the bra is super supportive, personally, I like crossing the straps in the back. I dare you to try this strapless too, it’s not going anywhere, not with the six hooks to keep your tatas up!

The panties did not fall short of the bra’s beauty in any way. With the same lace, see-through on the panty, with 3 clever sexy straps on the side. Throughout this whole bella collection, i have really enjoyed seeing  Bella stitched into the strap. Small details like this show love and care to the collection.

This is a well-planned set. With fun strappy designs, every bit of the bra and panty have something fun for the eye to see.

Shall we begin with the push-up bra; details like symmetrical lace patterns emboss the whole cup. Pearlle chose laser-cut material for the center panel and the bands, well-chosen as it makes this bra very comfortable to wear every day. An added strap to make a V-shaped design on the apex [top] of the bra adds some spunk and fun to the front design. Along the band, near the hooks, are more complementary V-shaped straps that tie the design to the back of the bra.

The panties carry the clever design with laser-cut edges to give the “invisible” look under clothes. Just like on the bra, there is the criss-cross strappy design on the hipbones for some eye candy. Part of the front panel is trimmed with matching lace and the sleekness continues with the printed on tag.

Compared to the other sets, these panties are not as high waisted and still very comfortable. I appreciate the satiny silky feel to this set as well. It feels to me lick this design had some extra attention. It can be hard for different bodies [and for the designer] to get these criss-cross loose straps to lay flay and correctly on the body. As you can see, these intricate designs are meant to be worn by a normal body <3

Let’s state the obvious and agree that this blue color is gorgeous. Pearlle has done a good job here again with symmetry with lace and design. She has even added fun layering over the cups with some trimmed mesh.

The cuts on the edges of the underwire are very clean and lucky for us, there is a nice bow in the center gore. If you are the kind of person that likes to wash things in a clothes washer [instead of by hand like me] this bow will help hide any wear that comes from the underwire section.

The added strip of mesh is actually not just for show either, its functionality plays a big role in bust support. Personally, my breasts are a little fuller on the outsides so I love this extra pull and support here. Really ties the ladies together nicely!

This bra isn’t laser-cut like the ANNE, but it is still very soft around the bands, and still give an “invisible look” under clothes. Even though there’s lace on the cups themselves, it does not show strongly through a shirt.

Pearlle has a 3-hooks for her bra clasps and I’ve gotta say, I rather like the extra hook. Sometimes I think bras pinch and pull [and wear faster overall] with just two hooks. The third hook makes the band just slightly wider, but adds ⅓ more support, eye candy, and will help from stretching over time. Something I learned from reading In Intimate Detail, by Cora Harrington, is that 80% of chest support comes from the band, not the straps. Your straps should only be like helpful assistants, not the major player when it comes to supporting.

The matching panties for this set are beautifully done as well. I want to begin by noting the criss-cross band action that is front and center of the panty. I really like to wear these panties when I feel like I want extra support and assurance on my bum. Do you know what I mean? Like some days I’m okay with no panty, and some days I’m okay with looser panties that will bunch up in my crack. Then there are days where I want to wear underwear and know that my panties have my backside, these panties do just that for me. They stay put and work just like a good panty should.

They tie in the flowery lace that was on the bra and has also added some fun dot-lace. I really love panties that are all mesh and lace over the front and back. I’m a rather active person and in my mind, the extra air-flow really plays a nice party in avoiding sweaty butt. Plus, they are super sexy. Like all Pearlle panties, she had a cotton liner in the crotch to help keep things healthy down yonder.

Okay, I know I’ve already said that I wear the other bras every day, but I am actually serious about this one. This summer I wore this bra whenever I could. The material feels so nice against my skin, and its smooth design makes it easy to wear under anything.

Like the Rose Pushup, this bra has removable/ adjustable straps. Yes, this strapless, even though it has just 3 hooks, still does not fall at all. I feel it is necessary to say that I am not a person who sits still or doesn’t lift heavy things, etc. I say this because when I express that even as a strapless this bra does not fall, I really mean it.

Its simplistic design does not lack in luster. A cleaver silver “P” with a white crystal dangles in the center gore [the space between the girls]. This gem adds an air of class to the overall look.

The laser-cut smooth panties are also a favorite to wear. Mostly because it feels like I’m wearing nothing at all. The tag is printed-in leaving your bottoms with a smooth buttery feeling all over.

If you’re in the market for something easy and nice to wear under anything, get this Tiffany set.

Pearlle is exactly what you think it might be just from the name. It’s classy, simple, and fun lacey designs. Watching Pearlle grow is exciting; she has produced sets that are great for everyday wear and also designs sets that definite panty droppers. Pun fully intended. 😉

Her designs are clever and original with no expense to being interesting. Every time I get a package I am so giddy to see what beautiful design I get to wear next. No matter what design comes in it’s always really comfortable to wear.

I’ve gotta come clean here. As much as I love lingerie I generally forget to put on bra and panties. When I try on Pearlle’s intimates I forget that I’m wearing anything at all and then I love the way I look in my clothes so the next day I wear something Pearlle again. I have really become hooked to wearing lingerie again now that I know comfort exists with Pearlle.
